How to get there: By car: Leave the A68 south of St Boswells, opposite turn off to Ancrum, onto B6400. 2 miles to Monteviot. By public transport: Regular bus service from St Boswells to Jedburgh passes road end. Then 2 mile walk.

Opening Hours: Gardens: Daily from 12noon to 5pm, last admission 4pm. House: Daily from 29th June to 26th July 1pm to 5pm, last admission 4.15pm. Closed Mondays
