Description: This centre offers events, exhibitions and countryside walks for all the family. Published programme of events for the whole year. Has the biggest and best children’s play park in the Borders.

How to get there: By car: Just off the A68, near Ancrum, between St Boswells and the turn off for Hawick. By public transport: Buses from St Boswells to Jedburgh pass the road end. About a one mile walk to the centre.

Sat 27 August – Thurs 6 October 10am – 5pm Virtually Scotland | Moy Mackay An exhibition of felted paintings from a flourishing Scottish artist. A collection of landscapes and cityscapes from some of Moy Mackay’s favourite Scottish destinations. All works available to purchase. Exhibition opens at 1300 on Sat 27 August.
Sat 15 – Mon 31 October 10am – 5pm A History of Harestanes Archive images from local photographers are displayed for the first time in an exciting new exhibition revealing the dramatic changes to countryside life around Harestanes over the past century. Exhibition opens at 1300 on Sat 15 October.
