One of the 7 great houses of Scotland. It is the oldest continuously occupied house in Scotland, and was the pleasure ground of the Kings of Scotland in times of peace, and the hideaway of catholic priests during their persecution.

How to get there:
By car: Turn off the A72 at Innerleithen onto the B709 and follow the signs.
By public transport: Bus service available to Innerleithen. (1 miles from the house). (One bus per day, not Saturday or Sunday to Traquair from Peebles)

Daily 25th March till 31st October.

Opening Times
April to September 11am - 5.00pm
October 11.00am - 4.00pm
November 11.00am - 3.00pm
Weekends only in November

Corporate or Group events (if requested) can be accommodated outwith the stated opening dates/ times.

Facilities:
Restaurant (open daily 11am to 4pm.)
Mini Adventure Playground and Maze.
