One of the 7 great houses of Scotland. It is the oldest continuously occupied house in Scotland, and was the pleasure ground of the Kings of Scotland in times of peace, and the hideaway of catholic priests during their persecution.

How to get there:
By car: Turn off the A72 at Innerleithen onto the B709 and follow the signs.
By public transport: Bus service available to Innerleithen. (1½ miles from the house). (One bus per day, not Saturday or Sunday to Traquair from Peebles)

Weekends only in November
