How to get there: By car: Lies between Melrose and Galashiels. On the B6360 which leaves the A6091, Melrose to Galashiels road some 2 miles from Melrose. Signposted. By public transport: Regular bus services, Melrose to Galashiels, pass the road end. Short walk to the house.
Seasonal opening details (2010): Open Daily between 15 March - 31 October 2009, 9.30am - 5.00pm. Sundays June to Sept 9.30am - 5pm. March to May and October 11am till 4pm.
November to March, Mon - Fri, group bookings only, by appointment.
Facilities: Tearoom & Gift Shop – opening hours as for house. Picnic Area Disabled car parking via the private entrance 200 yards west of the main car park. Toilets (inc Disabled)
