Fabrication | Margaret Kenny and Jane Jackson
Handmade ‘rag rug’ wall hangings created using traditional
techniques maintaining the integrity of the fabric. Margaret
Kenny works with recycled fabrics while Jane Jackson utilises the
structural qualities of Harris Tweed.

Rag Rugging Workshop
Spend a day learning the traditional craft of rug making. This is led
by Jane Jackson and Margaret Kenny. All materials are provided.

Treasures Lost and Found
The archaeology of the Borders as seen through Treasure Trove
discoveries. This exhibition has been inspired by the Treasure
Trove Panel’s award to Coldstream Museum of a late Bronze Age
spearhead which was discovered in a garden in Kirk Yetholm.

Treasure Trove Roadshow
An archaeological exhibition featuring the Late Bronze Age
spearhead found in Kirk Yetholm. Take part in family activities with
an archaeological theme all day at Kirk Yetholm Village Hall. Come
along and have a go at Bronze Age Games, finding and recording
your own archaeological treasure and using some tools of the
archaeologist’s trade.
