This is the museum of Alnwick and District, where you can explore the turbulent history of North Northumberland. Located in the former St Mary’s Church, there are six specially themed areas capturing the unique nature of this historic region.

By car: In the town of Alnwick at 14 Bailiffgate, close to Alnwick Castle.
By public transport: Regular bus services to Alnwick from Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed

Plus Bank Holiday Mondays except closed Christmas/New Year

Children under 5 come free to Bailiffgate.
All under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
